Robyn Alice McCutcheon

Robyn Alice McCutcheon (she/her) is a transgender woman and retired foreign service officer who served in Washington, DC; Moscow, Russia; Astana, Kazakhstan; Bucharest, Romania; and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Prior to joining the U.S. Department of State, Robyn worked for over 25 years as an engineer and programmer on NASA missions, primarily the Hubble Space Telescope, and was the recipient of numerous NASA awards. Although Ms. McCutcheon was employed by the U.S. Department of State, the views expressed in this chapter are strictly her own and do not represent the views of the Department of State, NASA, or the U.S. Government.
