Jack Thompson

Jack Thompson (he/him) is a proud biracial HIV+ transgender man who was awarded the title International Mr. Leather (IML) in 2019. The second trans-identified person to win, he describes himself as a “Leather craftsman, performer, and wolf. Naturally inclined to serve, Jack has been an active member of the leather community for over 15 years.” In his role as IML, he traveled world-wide to promote the leather community values of respect, love, tradition, community, and dirty sex. He has earned numerous other titles and awards as well. He is a founding father of ONYX Northwest and a current member of ONYX Mid-Atlantic. In 2018, Jack represented Mr. May on the Bare Chest Calendar (San Francisco) and is Mr. January for the same calendar’s 2022 Alumni Edition. He became Leatherman of Color in 2019, was also awarded The Pantheon of Leather’s Man of the Year award, ONYX’s Mufasa’s Lion Strength Award, and the Imperial Court’s Marcus Hernandez International Leather Leadership Award.

He lives at home with two dogs, a very needy and dog-like cat, and his husbear/Daddy who was first runner up for both International Mr. Bootblack 2019 and International Mr. Leather 2017. Jack flags black and navy on the right, light pink and kelly green on the left, and houndstooth down the middle.
