Finn Gratton, LMFT

Finn Gratton LMFT

Finn Gratton (they/them) is a leading expert on the intersection of autism and trans identities, providing supportive, nonjudgmental psychotherapy to children, teens, and adults who find themselves “out of the box.” Finn describes themself as “A momentary organization of waveforms, perceptually distinct, yet permeated by life that cannot be called Finn. To the trees they are carbon dioxide and a small hum. To their ancestors they are the next step. To the hologram of life that is perceived as early 21st-century human reality, they are white, autistic, nonbinary, parent, somatic therapist, writer, teacher, partner, friend, another animal that needs to eat and wants to play. In the future, they will be effects they can’t imagine now.” They have written and spoken extensively for providers and organizations and are a licensed marriage and family therapist. Finn’s book, Supporting Transgender Autistic Youth and Adults, is also available from Jessica Kingsley Publishers.
